Why I’m Starting FiveKidsOneMom

I didn’t plan on starting this blog again.

Life got loud. Work got busy. The kids got bigger. And somewhere between packed lunches, endless laundry, and trying to keep the heating on, I stopped writing.

But the truth is… I need this space.

I’m a full-time working mom raising five kids, and most days feel like survival mode. Not the Pinterest version of motherhood — the real one. The one where you’re tired before the day even starts, the food shop makes your eye twitch, and silence in the house usually means someone is up to no good.

This blog isn’t about being perfect.
It’s about being honest.

Some days I feel strong and capable.
Some days I cry over bills, burn the dinner, and wonder how I ended up responsible for so many humans.

FiveKidsOneMom is about surviving motherhood, juggling full-time work, and learning how to stretch money when there’s more month left than wage. It’s about laughing when things go wrong, choosing peace over chaos, and sharing what actually helps — not what looks good online.

If you’re a mom who feels overwhelmed, exhausted, lonely, or like you’re constantly doing your best with what you’ve got — you’re not alone here.

This is me starting again.
Messy. Honest. Tired. Hopeful.
