About me.

Juggling Life, Love, and Laughter

Hey there! I’m on a journey – a journey to recovery, balance, and maybe a little sanity. Life’s a wild ride, especially when you’re juggling work, family, and a hundred other things that pop up like uninvited guests at a party.

Let me introduce myself: I’m a proud mom of five incredible children. Now, I won’t say that having kids is easy – because, let’s be real, it’s the ultimate test of patience, endurance, and sometimes a good sense of humour. Doing it solo? Well, that’s a whole new level of hard work! But it’s also been one of the most rewarding adventures of my life. My children are my people – my squad. They help me navigate through life’s ups and downs with a lot of humour, a little chaos, and endless love.

Speaking of work, I spend my days in a special education school, working with amazing students who keep me on my toes. Honestly, I love it just as much as I love being a mom. There’s nothing like sharing a good laugh with colleagues and students who keep life interesting. Sure, not every day is sunshine and rainbows – sometimes it’s “can I hide in your office for five minutes?” days. But we always come back next day, armed with jokes, coffee, and a shared understanding that we’re all just trying to survive this beautiful chaos called life.

So, here I am – imperfect, resilient, and still trying to figure it all out. If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed, exhausted, or like you’re just winging it, congratulations—you’re human. Let’s embrace the mess together and find humour in the chaos. Because if we can laugh through the tough days, we’re doing more than okay.

Thanks for reading, and remember: you’re not alone in this journey. Keep laughing, keep loving, and keep going. We’ve got this!

Dust bunnies

So, here we are—June 2025! Can you believe we’re already 6 months into this year? It feels like I stepped out of a time machine and landed in a universe where stress has checked out and self-care is taking the spotlight! Can I get an amen?! If you asked me about 2024, I’d tell you I spent most of it juggling household chores like I was at a circus. I was that mom trying to balance cleaning, laundry, and making everyone else happy while my sanity took a nosedive faster than my toddler diving for the last biscuit.
